Apparently, bed bugs aren’t all that much different than many Canadians.
When it’s cold out, they prefer to hunker down and wait for warmer weather… once it warms up, they are far more inclined to get active and get going.
Which is not to say they aren’t around at this time of year – we are still getting some calls to treat them in Midland, and in Tiny and Tay Townships … but according to new research by the Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics (CCEB) population densities and new infestation reports tend to follow a “steep and seasonal cycle.”
